This full-time Medical Director role (4 days per week) offers strong earning potential, leadership influence, and schedule flexibility across skilled nursing facilities in the Southern Tier region.
Position Overview
- Full-time Medical Director role (4 days/week)
- Flexible weekday rounding schedule
- Direct patient care combined with clinical oversight
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership
- Mentorship and support of advanced practice clinicians
- Representation within the local post-acute care community
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform primary care rounding for short- and long-term patients
- Diagnose and manage chronic and acute medical conditions
- Conduct case reviews and mentor nurse practitioners
- Engage in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
- Participate in strategic leadership discussions
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated annual compensation: $231,800 – $246,651 (productivity-based; uncapped)

Requirements
- MD or DO – Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Minimum 1 year of primary care experience
- Post-acute care experience preferred
- Active or in-process New York medical license
- Active or in-process DEA registration
