About the Role
All-Genz MediMatch is recruiting a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician for a hospital-based ED in Mattoon, IL — a Central Illinois community built at the crossing of two railroads back in the 1850s, and still very much a regional hub today. It sits about 45 miles south of Champaign, in Lincoln country — Abraham Lincoln’s family farmed just a few miles from here, and he passed through regularly as a circuit-riding lawyer decades before Mattoon ever had an ER to staff.
This is small-city, high-acuity emergency medicine: Mattoon draws patients from a wide swath of rural Coles County and beyond, which means real volume and real variety without the overhead of a major metro.
