About the Opportunity
A mission-driven Community Health Center in Northeastern North Carolina is seeking two Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physicians for permanent part-time positions serving underserved communities in the Gatesville and Elizabeth City region.
Predictable schedule. No call. No obstetrics. No telemedicine. Immediate start available.
Two Positions Available
Position One — Gatesville, NC
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Administrative time: 2 hours included
- Total paid hours: 25 per week
- Average patient volume: 25 patients per day
- Compensation: $3,250 per week
Position Two — Elizabeth City, NC
- Monday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Administrative time: 2 hours included
- Total paid hours: 22 per week
- Average patient volume: 19 patients per shift
- Compensation: $2,750 per week (~$125/hour)

Responsibilities
- Comprehensive primary care for adults and children
- Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Preventive care and chronic disease management
- Accurate EMR documentation
- Patient follow-up and care coordination
- Compassionate, patient-centered care delivery
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Board certification eligibility within 24 months of residency completion
- Active North Carolina Medical License or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Clean malpractice history and NPDB record
