About the Role
All-Genz MediMatch is recruiting a full-time Psychiatrist for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Freeport, NY — a South Shore Long Island waterfront village about 40 minutes from Manhattan by rail. The role sits within a community behavioral health program serving a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and families, on a sliding-fee-scale basis.
Freeport itself is worth knowing a little about: it’s built around Woodcleft Canal and the Nautical Mile, a working strip of marinas, seafood restaurants, and charter fishing boats with roots going back to the 1800s oyster and boat-building days. It’s blue-collar and maritime at its core, but close enough to the city that you’re not giving up much to live here — small-town waterfront character with a fast train into Manhattan.
This is a chance to do meaningful psychiatric work with an underserved population, at a well-established community health organization on Long Island’s South Shore.
What We’re Looking For
- Board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist
- Comfortable working within a community/FQHC health setting
- Likely NHSC loan repayment eligible (standard for FQHC-affiliated roles — confirm with our team)
Compensation & Benefits
- $273,000 – $285,000 annually
